1 head broccoli
½ bunch fresh cilantro
1.6 lb chicken thighs
10 oz ramen noodles
1 tsp Chinese five-spice
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp sweet chill sauce
Salt & pepper
Place the chicken onto a large sheet of greaseproof paper and season with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp Chinese five-spice. Fold the paper over and use a rolling pin to bash the chicken until 1.5 cm thick. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan on high heat, then add the chicken.
Separate the broccoli florets, halving any large pieces.
Cook the chicken for 8 minutes, turning halfway through. Meanwhile, place the noodles and broccoli into a separate pan and cover with boiling water. Leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
Once the chicken has finished cooking, drain away excess fat. Then, drizzle with sweet chili sauce and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.
Drain the noodles and broccoli. First, serve the broccoli into 4 bowls. Toss the noodles with a drizzle of sesame oil and distribute them among the bowls. Now, serve the chicken on top. Scatter with the cilantro leaves to serve and enjoy!
